We have completed a full refresh of our global cost of living data as of March 31, 2026. Beyond the numbers, we have updated all our backend infrastructure to continuously bring you the most accurate cost data in the world.
- Automatic Cycles: Going forward, our system will automatically update all cost of living data and car prices every 3 months.
- Live Feeds: Data for exchange rates, commodity prices, and global indices remains live and unaffected, providing updates throughout the day.
2. New Homepage Update Summary
Transparency is key to how we operate. We have launched a new window on our homepage designed to summarize all updates done to the website. This allows you to track exactly when and where data changes occur at a glance.
3. Discover "Trending Experiences"
We have launched a new way to discover "Trending Experiences," beginning with an exclusive look at the food scene (quick bites, casual, and upscale) across 500 major cities with populations of over 1 million.
- The Momentum Algorithm: Our proprietary algorithm identifies "trending" spots every 90 days by analyzing review velocity, social buzz, and recent articles written about each location.
- Current Momentum: These places are selected based on current energy rather than a numerical rank, so they are listed in no specific order.
- Transparent Pricing: All listed prices are inclusive of tax and tip, so you know the true cost before you go.
